Facebook has released its first smart glasses

The device came out under the Ray-Ban brand, writes The Verge. The glasses are equipped with two front-facing 5-megapixel cameras for shooting videos and photos. The device syncs with the Facebook View application, from which you can send files to other applications on your smartphone.

The memory of the device will be enough for shooting about 30 half-minute videos or 500 photos.

According to Facebook, it takes about an hour to fully charge the glasses, and the battery lasts for about six hours.

With the glasses, you can listen to music and receive phone calls through the speakers built into the temples.

The glasses can be connected to an iOS or Android device. The glasses have two buttons - for turning on and recording multimedia.

There is a touch panel on the right arm. With it, you can adjust the volume of the music and answer a phone call. A white diode is installed on the side, which indicates that the glasses are recording video.

The set includes a leather case with a charger inside and a USB-C cable.

The glasses are not waterproof or splash-proof. There are no displays in the lenses. The devices are made in three classic Ray-Ban styles with different color combinations of frames and lenses.

Glasses cost from $299 to $379 (about 22-27 thousand rubles), depending on the type of lenses. The device can be purchased on the company's website or in stores in the US, Canada, UK, Italy, Ireland and Australia.
