Over a dozen self-driving taxis jammed at an intersection in San Francisco overnight due to a glitch

The cars just stopped and stopped moving on.
Cruise Automation's fleet of self-driving taxis has experienced a system failure. At least a dozen Chevrolet Bolts blocked the intersection of Gough Street and Fulton Street in San Francisco, writes Reddit user sunshine.
In the photos posted by the user, it is noticeable that the cars are on the road without drivers. Self-driving taxis are allowed to move around the city from 22:00 to 5:00, as well as collect fares from passengers, notes The Last Driver License Holder. Cruise employees had to manually drive them to the depot.
The reasons for the failure are unknown. Commenters on Reddit speculated that the machines were "unionized" or created a traffic jam to "enslave people".
