US inflation to halve by the end of 2022 - Goldman Sachs.
Goldman Sachs predicts a fall in the core price index of US personal consumption expenditure (PCE) to 2.3% by the end of 2022 from 4.4% at the end of 2021. The demand for goods should decrease as the incentive effects disappear. At the same time, analysts expect the inflationary situation to deteriorate in the winter before further recovery and a slowdown in its growth.
GS raises its baseline forecast for the S & P500 to 5100 points.
GS analysts expect the index to rise smoothly by 9% next year, amid growing concerns and an upcoming rate hike in the US.
